Clinical Pilates

Our Clinical Pilates classes provide a form of exercise focused on controlled movements that optimise posture and functional muscle control as well as improving strength and fitness.

The main focus of each of the individual class styles is correcting core activation and stabilising muscle patterns ensuring each muscle is activated in the correct order to achieve movement efficiency.  This helps maintain neutral body postures ensuring good alignment and achieving a safe way to strengthen and enhance stability.

We also like to include strength exercises, to the apply the newly found stability and motor patterns to movments that are similar to those needed in day to day life.

Our classes are a great way for someone to return to sport or exercise post injury/surgery, improve posture, recover from pain or injury, improve performance in day to day life, or just as a form of regular exercise

If you would like to join our classes, ask one of us here at the clinic or call and book your spot.
